On June 9^th, 2025, at approximately 8:24pm, Richardson Police Department officers located an Audi sedan related to an alert for a stolen vehicle with armed occupants. As officers attempted to stop the Audi, it fled westbound on West Spring Valley Road and eventually turned southbound onto Esperanza Road in Dallas where it crashed into an uninvolved Chevrolet Tahoe and an electrical pole. The Audi was occupied by the driver and five occupants, ranging in age from 15 to 19. Multiple firearms, a Glock conversion switch, and marijuana were located inside the Audi and an additional firearm was located on one of the occupants. All of the occupants of the Audi were taken to local hospitals for injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of the Tahoe was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. The Dallas Police Department responded to investigate the crash due to it occurring in their city.
