The Richardson Police Department is continuing its investigation into a reported sexual assault that was initially reported to have occurred on the night of Saturday, October 18, 2025, near the 500 block of North Greenville Avenue.

Detectives continue to work closely with the victim to gather additional details and clarify the circumstances surrounding the report. Investigators have also been reviewing surveillance videos from the area of the incident, as well as video obtained from DART cameras, with assistance from DART Police.

Through the course of the investigation, Detectives have determined that the victim did not arrive in Richardson by riding the DART train. Detectives are continuing to review the facts provided by the victim to ensure an accurate understanding of the events.
