Richardson Earns 2nd Place National Award for 2025 National Night Out

RICHARDSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Richardson Police Department is proud to announce that Richardson has been awarded 2nd place in the nation for Category 2 (population 100,000–300,000) in the 2025 National Night Out (NNO) competition. This recognition highlights Richardson’s longstanding commitment to fostering strong police-community partnerships and building a safer, more connected community.

National Night Out is held each year in Texas on the first Tuesday of October. During this event, the police department collaborates with local neighborhoods and organizations to celebrate the successful partnerships across the city.
