On January 13, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., patrol officers located a reported stolen vehicle traveling in the area of Centennial Boulevard and Greenville Avenue.

When officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the driver failed to comply, resulting in a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit ended when the vehicle struck a brick wall and became disabled. Following the crash, the driver fled the scene on foot.

Officers conducted a search of the surrounding area and successfully located the driver a short time later. The suspect, identified as a juvenile, was taken into custody without further incident.

The juvenile has been charged with Evading Arrest or Detention in a Vehicle and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
