The Richardson Police Department is investigating the deaths of three individuals discovered early Wednesday morning during a welfare check at an apartment in the 500 block of East Buckingham Road.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. on April 15, 2026, Richardson patrol officers responded to a 911 call from a concerned family member who was not at the residence. Upon arrival, officers entered the residence and located three deceased individuals: an adult male, an adult female, and a child. Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, which is currently being treated as a suspected murder-suicide.

The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. This remains an ongoing investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
