2020 Summer Safety Camp registration begins March 16, 2020.
We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and if any of the summer camps need to be canceled, those registered will be notified as soon as possible.

Week long camps (Mon. - Fri.) begin in June and continue through the first week of August.
There will be no camp the week of June 29th or the week of July 6th.

If your child has completed kindergarten and has not yet started 4th grade, he/she is eligible to attend Summer Safety Camp. Children of Richardson residents who have NOT attended Safety Camp in the past will be given priority first, if any openings exist after those registrations are processed, prior attendees will be placed.

Kids will see videos and listen to guest speakers about 9-1-1, Stranger Danger, Internet Safety, Animal Safety, Poison Safety, Water Safety and much more.

Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Camp sessions are one week long. CAMP will be held at Yale Elementary School (1900 E. Collins Blvd.). Parents may drop off as early as 8:30 a.m. and must pick up no later than 12:30 each day. An adult is required to check child in the first day of camp and stay for a brief meeting. Children may attend only one session.
